VirMax Review
The reason I decided to take on this VirMax review is that lately, I’ve been rather inundated with questions regarding it. Many folks would like to know if VirMax can help them. Some have read a few less than stellar VirMax reviews, which has potentially led them to my site.
For starters, I don’t think much of VirMax, so if the other VirMax reviews reflected such a tone, I’m likely to agree with them. I’m a bit biased to our top 10 male enhancers, as they are proven to be effective and most other review sites are in agreement. When you get down to some of the lesser potent male enhancements, you start to find fragility in the market. And that’s where VirMax stands.
It doesn’t mean that it won’t work for you, but it does mean that I suggest you give it a closer look before spending your money on it. Male enhancement supplements are an extremely competetive market anymore, there are a lot of great supplements out there that could serve you well. I would read as many reviews on as many supplements as possible before purchasing just one.
VirMax Claimed Benefits
VirMax benefits claims aren’t groundbreaking, nor should they be. This is pitched as a male enhancement solution, so expectations would be that it does just that.
- May improve sexual performance
- Might add intensity to sexual experience
- Stimulate sexual desire and function
That’s all rather standard male enhancement claims. So let’s dive down a bit further, shall we?
VirMax Ingredients – How It Works
VirMax uses a combination of ingredients aimed at working in harmony to collectively target several areas of weakened male enhancement. Improving male enhancement means stimulating libido, increasing erection strength, and improving the length of time a man can maintain his erection. The presence of healthy levels of testosterone is also a factor. That’s the core competency of a healthy functioning system.
VirMax uses a series of all natural ingredients (this is the good part). For VirMax to work, it must use legitimate ingredients. Additionally, VirMax uses proprietary blends which means we really aren’t sure how much of each ingredient they use. That’s a big deal. And in fact, for me, a deal breaker.
L-Glutamic Acid: When it comes to sexual pleasure, it all comes down to your brain’s neurotransmitters functioning up to specifications. Nerve cells need to be stimulated, transported to another cell, and then sent back to the original cell. In some ways, sexual pleasure, at its very heart and soul, is series of free flowing messages that are without interruption. At the point this nerve cell arrives back at the old cell, it becomes L-Glutamine. And then it is turned back into Glutamic acid, and the process begins again.
This process is at the very core of what makes sexual pleasure, well, sexual pleasure. The addition of this ingredient is a healthy component that serves up the benefit of proper nerve functions.
Horny Goat Weed: It’s more than just a cool name, it is a functionally applicable name. It is said that goat herders gave this herb to their goats and their goats got a little more frisky. And the same is reportedly true of humans. It is also said to help with joint and kidney issues.
L-Arginine: L-Arginine helps the body produce Nitric Oxide. Nitric Oxide increases blood flow. If you want to resolve erection issues, you probably need to start with blood flow. If blood flow is problematic, it causes disruptions in penile growth. In other words, it makes it more difficult to get an erection. This is, in my opinion, an essential and necessary ingredient for any legitimate male enhancement supplement.
Panax Ginseng: Ginseng is a wildly popular supplement on its own. It helps people with concentration, and some claim it can help brain function. Its role in Virmax comes from its reported stimulation of the human libido.
Saw Palmetto: Saw Palmetto is linked through research to help relieve symptoms of an enlarged prostate. (study)
Ginkgo Biloba: Ginkgo Biloba is known to increase the circulation of blood, which in turn has a very positive effect on maintaining a strong erection. I’d say this is another solid addition in terms of VirMax ingredients.

L-lysine: Oddly, L-lysine tempers the effect of L-Arginine (don’t worry, this is a good stuff). Remember, L-Arginine is converted to nitric oxide, which increases blood supply to the penis. L-lysine slows down that process, which translates into a longer erection.
The Pros
- The ingredients are natural
- It can help improve sexual function
- Some have suggested it increases libido
The Cons
- The ingredient label is confusing
- There seems to be confusion via users in terms of what’s the real VirMax?
VirMax Conclusion
This is not my favorite supplement. The male enhancement market is extremely competetive and products such as VirMax, who market themselves as “natural viagra,” are essentially the saturated part of the market. Our top 10 male enhancers most certainly have better options, even beyond our 1o listed. That said, the ingredients used by VirMax are solid. Most of them have studies to prove that they work. But it’s just not a brand I put a lot of faith into. It doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.
