I think long and hard before placing a brain supplement on my best nootropic advice page. No, that’s not me attempting to not-so-subtly point out that my page is now visited by thousands of people every day looking to figure out which brain supplements are the real deal, and which are just a Milli Vanilli album that sound awesome to dance to but aren’t authentic. I don’t want anyone to perceive me as arrogant by saying I get fan mail. I just want to be the humble guy who started a supplement review website in his basement and became a huge success. Hey, seriously, let’s get down to business and talk about this Smart Pill review. I’ve heard your questions about this nootropic and I think it is about time we get real with it.
Smart Pill is a nootropic brain supplement manufactured by a company named, Only Natural. Only Natural is a big, reputable supplement company based in the great state of New York. Only Natural distributes almost every type of supplement imaginable. Customers trust them, they have a good reputation, and there is no reason to not trust buying products from them. They also state they’ve been around since 1986.
Smart Pill claims to be a natural solution to brain fog and memory issues. The name is to the point, but is the product’s claims as factual as their name? Our Smart Pill review looks at the supplement’s ingredients to determine whether or not this is worth your time.
Smart Pill Benefits
Smart Pill Benefits all revolve around improving mental capacity and function. Smart Pill claims to improve memory, increase focus and “act fast.” I suppose if you are in a focus-pinch, Smart Pill wants to be the handy solution to what woes you. They also claim to increase the duration of your focus. Yep, this means you can focus longer, with more sustained concentration and energy levels. Smart Pill benefits aren’t ground breaking as most of their competitors float the same pitch, so all that matters is how they live up to the claims.
Smart Pill Ingredients
The ingredients make or break the nootropic’s success. A fully-functioning nootropic stack is only as good as what is contained inside the capsules. So let us first look at Smart Pill’s label and then assess how good this stuff may or may not be.
Right away, I’m impressed. Unlike many nootropic stacks, Smart Pill discloses each and every ingredient as well as their amounts. Many nootropics disclose only “blend” amounts which lump a handful of nootropic ingredients into one section. So this is a great start for those who are considering purchasing Smart Pill or have already bought it and want to know if it is worth keeping (hint, please check us out next time before you purchase!).
Smart Pill list a series of B vitamins at the top of the label. There are many herbs that are great for brain health below that, but maybe being that Only Natural is an old school company they decided to highlight the B vitamins first. That’s OK, B vitamins are excellent for brain health. Here’s a study worth checking out that shows every B vitamin’s role in the brain. B12 is considered a protector for the aging brain. B6 is so good for the brain, AARP encourages its clients to eat more onions just to get more B6! (source). So if you don’t mind the vicious breath and bad body odor that onions cause, you might be getting smarter by eating them. All the same, the addition of these B vitamins is vital to a brain supplement. But, and you are probably already thinking this, you could just get a B complex vitamin, right?
Sort of. That’s where all the other nootropic stack ingredients come in. The B vitamins, though listed at the top of the label, are more something that is a great addition rather than a central component in the ingredients.
Ginkgo Biloba is a powerful nootropic ingredient that’s been linked to anti-aging, improved memory, increased blood flow to the brain and sharper focus (source). Another Smart Pill ingredient I’d like to point out is Ginseng. Ginseng has a century-rich history of successfully helping in both brain and sexual health. The effects of ginseng are rarely if ever, argued or debated. Ginseng just works.
L-Tyrosine and GABA are both proven ingredients to help with achieving calm and to help with sleep. If you are stressed, if you are not sleeping, your brain health will suffer. These are both wise inclusions on the part of Smart Pill.
What’s Good About Smart Pill?
Lots. My Smart Pill review makes my best nootropics advice page, albeit low, but it still proves to be a worthy competitor in the market. Smart Pill’s combination of B vitamins and proven nootropic herbs means that the supplement does work. I’d say that the benefits claimed by Only Natural are based in truth. They also disclose how much of each ingredient is present. I think, for the value, Smart Pill is above average, but not the best thing you will find. You could buy your own B complex supplement and get a more robust brain supplement that expands on proven brain enhancing herbs. Either way, you can’t go wrong with Smart Pill.
Oh hey, thanks for stopping by. It would be great if you’d share my efforts with your friends and family who also want to feel smarter and more focused and win more family trivia games!
